Miba Battery Systems presents a new battery system which is impressive thanks to its higher energy density, the utmost safety in accordance with automotive standards and its flexible scalability. Equipped with the innovative 46xx cell technology, Terra #11 increases the performance of off-highway vehicles, construction machinery and utility vehicles. Terra #11 is being used for the first time in the PANTHER electric from Rosenbauer, the world market leader in fire service equipment, and in particular it significantly increases the battery lifetime in special vehicles.

Central benefits of the new Terra #11 battery system

Terra #11 is based on 46xx cell technology, and offers a combination of high energy capacity and performance that up to now could only be achieved through different cell types. With a voltage level of 650 V and a capacity of 42.8 kWh, Terra #11 achieves a markedly higher energy density with a lower weight. The dimensions of 1700 x 700 x 140 mm enable it to be flexibly integrated into a variety of vehicle models.

The well thought out design offers maximum performance and safety in accordance with strict automotive standards: the integrated Miba FLEXCOOLER® cooling system reliably protects the cells from overheating, and ensures perfect thermal management in challenging work environments.

Flexibly interconnecting several packs enables systems to be configured scalably and individually, while the flat design means that it can be optimally integrated into vehicles such as transporters. The integrated matrix controller enables parallel switching, which additionally increases the flexibility and scalability of the system.
