“Made in Europe” subsidy bonus as a market advantage: Miba and M-TEC present European energy storage solution

With the new “Made in Europe” bonus from the Austrian government, the focus is shifting to European value creation for PV and storage solutions – a clear competitive advantage for the partnership between Miba and M-TEC. Together, the two Upper Austrian companies are launching a complete European solution for energy storage onto the market at exactly the right time, with the majority of the components as well as the entire development, production and software coming from Europe.

The battery system specialist Miba Battery Systems, part of the globally active Upper Austrian technology group Miba, and M-TEC Energy for Future, a provider of integrated energy solutions for private and commercial customers, are jointly launching a sustainable European energy storage solution onto the market, which now also benefits from the “Made in Europe” bonus from the Austrian government.

Developed and produced in Bad Leonfelden, the Energy Tower from Miba Battery Systems is a high-performance, modular storage solution. In combination with M-TEC’s in-house energy management system, the result is a comprehensive overall system that relies entirely on European technology. The manufacturers are convinced that this fully meets the requirements for European value creation.

“By partnering with M-TEC, we are positioning ourselves in the market at exactly the right time with an eligible European energy storage solution that combines technological quality with regional value creation. We are confident that we will meet the criteria of the new subsidy conditions and thus offer our customers an additional incentive,” says Stefan Gaigg, Managing Director of Miba Battery Systems GmbH.

The powerful storage solution is available in capacities from 32.2 to 230.5 kWh and can be combined with inverters between 20 and 50 kW and, together with the energy management system, ensures efficient control and optimal use of the stored energy.

“Demand for flexible all-in-one solutions is growing, particularly in the home and small commercial segment. With the Energy Tower, we are offering small and medium-sized companies in particular a modular system that perfectly complements our existing modular system kit,” concludes Peter Huemer, CTO and owner of M-TEC Energy for Future.
