In the high-performance electric motorcycle segment, the demands on battery systems are particularly great: minimal installation space, low weight, maximum energy density, and consistent and fast power delivery under extreme conditions. Whether on the racetrack, in demanding off-road use, or during dynamic on-road driving, the battery is at the heart of performance.

We develop and manufacture high-performance batteries for leading manufacturers in the two-wheel sector and have established ourselves in Europe as a recognized partner for demanding applications. Our focus is on power density and resilience under real driving conditions. Our expertise dates back to early electric motorcycle projects such as the Johammer. As a pioneer in the laser welding of lithium-ion cells, we have laid the foundation for meeting the highest performance requirements, with a focus on maximum energy density, maximum reliability and low contact resistance. Combined with the experience of our international teams—including the specific electric motorcycle expertise of our engineering center in Poland—we are consolidating our position as a leading supplier in this segment.

Today, we offer the widest range of customer-specific UN38.3 and ECE R136 certified battery systems – from 21700 to 46XX cells and with voltages from 48 to 400 volts. Our solutions range from passive to actively cooled systems equipped with our flexible FLEXCOOLER® thermal management system. These battery systems have already proven themselves in applications such as FIM MotoE, the official electric motorcycle racing series in MotoGP.

Series production facility in operation – ready for future growth

Last year, we invested in a series production plant for high-performance battery systems for electric motorcycles. The plant has already been successfully commissioned and enables us to efficiently meet the growing demand in this segment.

Future-proof technology for the global market

We are currently addressing developments for 800-volt batteries and expanded certification requirements for the global market, including UL2271, for example. In doing so, we will continue to set standards for high-performance batteries in the global two-wheeler market in the future.
