The energy storage systems are available via M-TEC with immediate effect in configurations of three to six modules. From the first quarter of 2026, a compact model with #02 modules will be added to the range.
Many people want to start using sustainable energy without having to make a large initial investment. The Energy Tower enables precisely this: a modular storage solution that grows flexibly with the actual energy requirements – step by step.
Previously active primarily in the commercial segment, M-TEC is now tapping into the private market with the Energy Tower, focusing on regional development and eligibility for subsidies.
Configurations available with immediate effect:
• #03 modules with 13.8 kWh – ideal for households with average energy needs
• #04, #05, and #06 modules with 18.4, 23 and 27.6 kWh – for higher requirements or future expansions, such as for e-mobility or heat pumps.
From the first quarter of 2026, a compact system with just #02 modules producing 9.2 kWh will also be launched – a targeted solution for households that want to start small and expand later.
“We are making sustainable energy accessible to every household – modular, flexible and future-proof. This is how we are paving the way to energy independence,” says Stefan Gaigg, Managing Director of Miba Battery Systems GmbH.
Technologically sophisticated and regionally produced:
• Scalable: Capacities from 9.6 (from Q1 2026) to 41.4 kWh
• Eligible for funding: Meets the requirements of common funding programs
• Made in Europe: Development and production are carried out regionally
• Direct support: Sales, advice and support are provided by M-TEC
• Future-proof: Compatible with modern energy management systems
Miba Battery Systems was recognized as one of the top performers in the renowned 2025 Energy Storage Study conducted by HTW Berlin. Our modular and high-performance VOLTHOME® systems for residential use and VOLTINDUSTRY® for commercial
applications, both marketed under the name Energy Tower, achieved an impressive overall efficiency of over 96 percent. A total of 17 manufacturers and 22 storage systems were tested in combination with inverters in the 5 kW and 10 kW power classes– a clear
ignal of performance, quality and sustainable energy solutions.
